Welcome to our pub!
We are Wayne and Michelle Randle, your landlords of the Stag Hunt Inn.
Wayne grew up in pubs in and around Cornwall and is now a 4th generation landlord having left his career as a local headteacher in 2022. Michelle comes to this as an avid fan of Red Wine and Physics, and currently still has a day job in Physics educational assessment.

We want the pub to be at the heart of village life and a place where all the community feel comfortable to visit. We want to provide events and activities that make the pub a central focus for the community and a place they are proud of. Ponsanooth is a warm and welcoming community and the ideal location to access West Cornwall. We have Bed and Breakfast rooms available.

location
The Stag Hunt is ideally located to provide access to local areas of interest such as Carn Brea, Stithians lake and Show Ground, the Bissoe Trail and of course Kennall Vale. It is a gateway to the rest of West Cornwall including Falmouth, Truro and the beaches of both north and south coasts.

We have 3 themed rooms all decked out which soft furnishing from the amazing Cream Cornwall and Atlantic Blankets.
Room 1 – Is our Coral room, a romantic room taking colours from coral and accessories with Cream Cornwall Coral Collection.

Room 2 – Is our Beachcomber room, a bright and light room with sea shades of blue making you feel at home in Cornwall. This room is themed around the Cream Cornwall Classic collection.

All rooms sleep 2 in a king sized bed with the option of a fold out kids bed if required. Well behaved dogs are also welcome.
